After many years experience in restaurants the owner, who comes from Galicia, fulfilled his long-held wish to open a restaurant dedicated to Spanish cuisine.

The name La Bota was chosen for its unusual quality and to those familiar with the traditional leather wineskin of Northern Spain, relates to the authenticity of the dishes served here together with carefully chosen wines from Spain.
